Additional drivers may be needed before you can use the Samsung Epic 4G Touch as a modem or for tethering. Go to www.samsung.com and visit the D710 Product page. Navigate to the Download Center to obtain the needed drivers. Read the online FAQ to get detailed information about this driver2
Then connect the phone to your computer using a USB cable.3
Tap the Menu Key from the Home screen 4
Then tap Settings5
Tap Wireless & networks and choose Tethering & portable hotspot6
Tap USB tethering to add a checkmark and activate the feature. The USB tethering icon is displayed at the top of your screen.
