Things You'll Need:
- Subscription to the Verizon Wireless Wi-Fi hotspot service

Turn on Wi-Fi power by touching Menu and then tapping Settings 2
Then choose Wireless & networks and touch Wi-Fi.3
Now you need to turn on the hotspot app. Touch Mobile Hotspot.4
Then touch Configure Mobile Hotspot to change hotspot security and configuration settings.5
Tap Network SSID to enter a unique name for your hotspot and touch Next.6
Select Security to choose the type of security you want, and touch Save: WEP, WPA, or WPA2. Enter a unique password. Other users can access your Wi-Fi hotspot only if they enter the correct password.7
Tap Broadcast Channel to select a channel that minimizes potential interference. You may need to try different channels after your hotspot is active for a time.8
Touch Save when the settings are complete.
Tips & Warnings
- When your Wi-Fi hotspot is active, other Wi-Fi enabled devices can connect by entering your hotspot’s SSID, selecting a Security type, and entering the correct Wireless password.
- The Wi-Fi hotspot application significantly impacts battery life. You may want to run this application with the charger connected.
