If you are a new Motorola Droid user, using the phone for the first time requires you to read the complete manual to understand every function and feature of the phone. However, I know most users just jump right on the phone and explore the things in the menu rather than reading a boring manual. But that's not how it should be, to fully know your phone from top to bottom, I advise you to read the manual so you could do the things listed here. |

How to transfer music/video files from the Computer to your Motorola Droid:2
Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable.3
On the top of the screen you will find a notification bar, pull it down to access the window.4
Select USB Connected5
Select Mount6
In your computer, access your phone's memory card and create a music/video folder on it. If the video or music files include images (artwork) in jpeg format, rename those files as albumart.jpg and put it in the same folder as the music/video files.7
Disconnect the USB Storage8

Setting the web browser home/start page:10
From Home, go to the applications tab located at the bottom of the screen. 11

Enter the URL address of the home page you want and touch OK.17
Locking a Text Message18
From Home, go to Messaging.19
Select and open the contact you want to lock.20
Press and hold the message until a lock icon will appear beside it. 21
Press and hold again, to unlock the message.
