WINDOWS LIVE HOTMAIL NOW AVAILABLE TO NOKIA MESSAGING SUITE

 

Nokia has announced a new addition to its Messaging suite. Windows Live Hotmail, a very popular web-based email solutions, is now compatible with the Nokia Messaging suite. Windows Live Hotmail joins other popular email accounts compatible with Nokia Messaging such as Yahoo! Mail, Gmail and AOL Mail.

Mio Explora K70

Another GPS company has made the leap into the mobile pool.  Mio has designed the Explora K70.  No word on price or release date, but this handset will have plenty to offer giving Garmin a run for their money as they have yet to release the much anticipated Nuviphone

GOOGLE SYNC FOR IPHONE LAUNCHED: EXCHANGE HAS COME TO THE IPHONE

 

 

To say that this is fantastic would be an understatement, but today Google launched Sync which brings Microsoft Exchange support to the iPhone free of charge.

Google Latitude, a feature built into Google Maps that lets you locate your friends in real time, rolled out with the firmware update to the G1 this week—-and it's coming to a (i)Phone near you very shortly.

 

FIREFOX MOBILE TARGETED FOR HTC TOUCH PRO NEXT WEEK

 



Over at the Mozilla developer's wiki for the Firefox Mobile "Fennec" browser a cryptic message has been posted which points to its eminent release for the HTC Touch Pro.


"We are targeting a Milestone release for the first week of February, targeting the HTC touch pro." is hidden away in the WinMo section of the developers notes.

WINDOWS MOBILE 6.5 TO BE RELEASED IN Q3 OF 2009?

 

Here's an interesting mobile OS rumor. According to DigiTimes.com, Microsoft will deliver the Windows Mobile 6.5 to handset makers in the middle of 2009. This new mobile OS may be unveiled at next month's Mobile World Conference.

BLACKBERRY OS RUNNING ON...WINDOWS MOBILE

 

What you see there is the BlackBerry OS running as an application on Windows Mobile-powered HTC Fuze. And according to BerryReview it's completely legitimate.

MY CELL PHONE DILEMMA

 

I have been a loyal T-Mobile subscriber for about 5 years.  I am satisfied with the network coverage and my rate plan is dirt cheap.  I currently receive 1000 minutes per month with unlimited nights and weekends for $40.  I own a Blackberry Curve, which I use for both work and play.  I get my email, and I can read the news.  All in all, I’m relatively happy.
