01234 Amazing Phone!, Thursday, December 18, 2008 - 13:08

The BlackBerry Storm 9500 is one powerful smartphone. It looks corporate and stylish in one. A bit bulky but love the solid feel. The high-resolution touch screen is simply beautiful. Large, clear, and sharp screen. It is responsive as well. The revolutionary clicking mechanism is pleasing! The brushed metal back looks sleek. A stunning new OS interface is beautiful. It is integrated 3G/HSDPA and GPS which means fast internet browsing.

The BlackBerry Storm's 3.2 camera is easy to use. It was simple to send pictures to a friend. It takes great pictures with the help of flash and autofocus. The keyboard is comfortable and easy to use for email, texting, and IM. I have tried the route finder or GPS to find location and it works great.

The BlackBerry Storm displays full web browser just like shown in a laptop or a computer. Internet browsing was so easy since it has zoomed in and out ability and also clicking and dragging to scroll around zoomed pages. Love it!
Video playback looks very good on the high resolution screen. Vodafone music store was great. Its built-in music player can play variety of music formats and can even synchronize with iTunes.

Overall, the BlackBerry Storm is a superb smartphone. Email, IM, texting, calls and voice is perfect with this device. I just wished that it has Wi-Fi then it would have been more beautiful.

01234 Disaster, Friday, December 5, 2008 - 15:36

I just read an article by New York Time's columnist David Pogue about the Blackberry Storm. This phone seems like an utter disaster. You can check out the article here: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/27/technology/perso...

01234 Blackberry Storm-a touch above, Tuesday, November 18, 2008 - 22:21

You can't be everything to everyone. This one is trying. The saga continues. If you are a network administrator and you have the push set up for your network then you want to stick with what works. So the Blackberry family is for you. I have a friend that is looking for open source server technology that will push his email to him on his windows mobile phone. The Storm is Blackberry's jumping into the deep end of the pool. Lucky they are Olympians when it comes to swimming in the deep end. They do not have a touch screen on the Bold and many might believe it was to stay true to form. But like I was told a long time ago...If you haven't rebelled against the establishment by the time your 27 you haven't lived. But if you haven't joined the establishment by the time your 27 you are an idiot. I am not sure If I agree with it or not. I guess I want to have my cake and eat it too. The Storm has built in GPS. It is thin but a little heavy. There is no QWERTY board because there is a soft board. If you have ever used one before it is not a big deal. Kind of like typing in an address on some GPS devices. It has a 3.5mm jack which is cool. It does support Mpeg's and the audio support is excellent. The Battery life is good and it is 3G. The thing that separates the Bold from the Storm is WIFI. There is no WIFI on the Storm. That is a drawback. But Blackberry is looking like a great choice for my next phone.

01234 Powerful SmartPhone!, Monday, December 8, 2008 - 09:39

I got to play with this phone at the store I'm working. The Blackberry Storm 9500 is definitely a powerful phone. Looks great and feels solid. The 3G, Bluetooth, Built-In Camera, and E-mail Client work very well.

Pros:

HSDPA high speed data connectivity
Expandable memory
Integrated social networking apps
Clickable touchscreen control
Cut-and-paste text
Email was easy

Cons:

Lacks Wi-Fi
Lack of responsiveness
Slow accelerometer
Not fully Mac compatible

I can't wait to upgrade my old phone. The Blackberry Storm has all the features of a dream phone.

01234 Powerful Device!, Monday, December 15, 2008 - 09:31

The BlackBerry Storm 9500 work excellent with emails, sms, memo, word, and other great features it has. I love the corporate and sophisticated design. The touch screen is very responsive. The phone is easy to use - makes texting and email simple. The suretype is superb that provides drop down list of suggested word during typing. You are able to highlight text and copy, paste, or delete it. The voice and sound quality is clear and loud.

The BlackBerry Storm 9500 is like a mini-laptop which carries all you need for business. 3g internet browsing is fast. It is outstanding in multitasking such as switching applications. The picture and video quality is good.

My only complaint is that it has no Wi-fi. But the BlackBerry Storm 9500 is a great powerful business phone. Worth the wait!

01234 Can’t Wait, Thursday, October 30, 2008 - 14:17

Ok, I admit I have not used this phone yet. However, the Blackberry Storm 9500 offers everything I have been waiting for in a Blackberry. While I am impressed with the Blackberry Bold, this phone, more than any other Blackberry is a true competitor to the iPhone. Since I need a Blackberry for my work, the Storm is at the top of my wish list.

01234 They hit it this time, Sunday, March 1, 2009 - 22:32

It definitely brightened me when I heard the news that Blackberry will release its response to the so popular iPhone 3G. I personally believe that Blackberries are the best phones for business so I set my eyes on Blackberry Storm from the moment it has been announced. The makers of Blackerry really hit the mark this time.

This is the best smartphone I owned so far. That is because this phone is packed with all features that I would like to have. I absolutely love the screen. It is very good for viewing pictures and videos. The screen also response immediately to the touch. Another one of the good thing that this phone have is the 3.2 megapixel camera with an autofocus and LED flash. Pictures are decent enough and printable. There is also the music player that can play several types of files. On top of that there is a 3.5mm audio jack so it just made life a little bit easier.

The best features of this phone lie on the high-speed internet browsing and the unparalleled email capabilities. It's really very helpful to me since I use this features most of the time. The GPS with Blackberry maps feature is also cool. This device is also capable of multi-tasking and has unique features such as conference calling,, voicemail attachment playback, and voice activated dialling.

This device keeps me satisfied so I don't have lots of complaints. There are just issues like the battery life is somewhat short. This phone is also a bit heavier compared to other smartphones and it lacks the Wi-fi feature. But despite of that I would still say that this device is worth it. It is not perfect but it's real.
