01234 HTC Touch: All the Right Basics, Friday, October 3, 2008 - 03:03

HTC Touch is sure to awe any mobile-phone fanatic just as it made me marvel. For one, it definitely has wider display, certainly weighs lighter and since it probably is one of the slimmest touch screen phones, is not bulky to carry around.

Had a couple of days analyzing HTC Touch up close in terms of its functionality and most importantly, user-friendliness. Apt to its name, it is easier to operate because of their distinct TouchFlo technology, where a single stroke entails easy accessibility to speed dial and other applications. I could save time instead of going through a lot of its other applications.

In proper order, I was able to maximize the use of the following features: 1.) messaging 2.) wifi accessibility (fast and without much hassles) 3.) MS Office Applications (all I need to do is to transfer important work-related files, speed off and read them without consuming extra time in the office).

It?s also great to have perfect control in viewing images from drawing a circle to zoom in and to tapping the screen to access the menu.

HTC Touch may not receive the same marketing raves as its frequent ?rivals? but it is certain to satisfy any mobile phone buyer with its practicality and functionality. This unit is being compared for most of the time to Apple?s iPhone. I have to admit that I wasn?t really able to get a hold of an iPhone model to compare, check and announce ?the better touch screen mobile phone?, though I?m not exactly bothered since I am extremely satisfied with what HTC Touch has provided. Yes, there is definitely an influx of more HTC units (with one or two additional features) but HTC Touch provides the perfect price to its tight-budgeted prospective customers.
For now, HTC Touch is fairly recommendable from the average mobile user to anybody involved in serious business.

01234 Not bad., Sunday, April 6, 2008 - 18:06

This is not an iPhone, but the touchflo interface is pretty cool. I’m still thinking of getting one, but not sure if I want to go with Sprint.
