LG Decoy VX-8610

I have had a lot of Nokia phones and Samsung, so far the LG Decoy is the best. Here's why:

PROs:
- Solid phone. Feels good in my hand. Comfortable and easy to hold.
- The sleek front screen is easy to read.
- Easy to use navigation and features (such as open, dial, text, etc.)
- Large Screen on the front is gorgeous.
- Great interface.
- I LOVE the voice commands button because you can easily slide it open and hit that button without even looking at the phone while driving.
- The lock function works great.
- Bluetooth works great.
- The Phone charges at the same time as the Bluetooth. AND has a separate charger.
- Can charge the phone using an individually purchased USB PC connector.
- 20+ Ringtones, nice calendar, can set 4 shortcuts by hitting right on the scroll button
-Very nice camera options
- Speaker Phone and Volume is loud and clear
- Surprised to find Notepad and many other options under Settings and Tools.
-Customizable

CONs:
- Occasionally there is a delay after hitting the Clear or Back button.

The LG Decoy is the best Verizon phone I've ever had. I recommend it to everyone.

I love this phone! The LG Decoy VX8610 is a complete V Cast phone that gives you access to the full V Cast store for videos and music. I did like that the LG Decoy automatically plays audio through the Bluetooth headset for V Cast content. I think this is the first mobile phone to have a Bluetooth headset integrated into its design and it is superb! It goes on and off easily using a latch on the back. You can charge both your phone and headset with just ONE charger. Pairing the Bluetooth headset to the phone was very easy! It sounds clear and excellent. The call quality is impressive. People say to me that they can hear me just very well when I’m using the headset. I had no problem at all hearing the conversation when I?m in a noisy and crowded room. Another good thing is that if you don’t want to take the headset with you, you don’t have to. Just pop it off and put the included plastic cavity cover right over the opening for the headset. They also included a separate adapter that clips to the headset if you would like to charge the headset by itself.

It’s a beautifully designed phone. The back is a pleasant blue violet color that has a good feel to it. The headset fits well into the back of the phone and doesn’t add too much bulk to it. My only worry is the glossy finish of the front. My suggestion would be to get a case to avoid blotches and scratches.
The LG Decoy Navigation is very good. The LG Decoy VX8610 uses VZ Navigator 4.1.1, which includes the enhancements for live traffic updates. I liked the joystick for this app. It was useful in scrolling down our route maps to find the next turn.

Overall, LG Decoy is an excellent phone.

The LG Decoy VX-8610 is a neat looking phone and very small and light. The phone has really good sound and decent connectivity. It wasn’t the Bluetooth headset that sold me, but the "joystick".

Cons:
Bluetooth headset won’t fit in my ear; not a selling point; may or may not buy a new separate headset

Overall, the LG Decoy VX-8610 is a nice phone.
