LG Shine CU720 in Silver or Red or Black

I've been using the LG Shine CU720 for about a month now and I like it. I love the design...very elegant and radiant.

Pros:
-Simple navigation
-Good-looking Phone
-Color Effects on camera such as black and white
- Favorite Menu
-The screen is almost a mirror
-Generally good service
-Calendar as a background
-Good sized screen for web
-AIM
-Easy texting
-Battery life is great

Cons:
-Only 3 display color schemes
- Bit heavy and wide
- Ring volume is poor.

Overall, great phone.

I was hooked by the advertisement regarding this phone and I actually bought it. At first I was really so happy because the phone looks real nice and pretty. I like it when the phone is a slider and though many people complain about 'flat keypads' I really don't care because I like it more if keypads are flat and sensitive. So for the first 3 days I am so pleased with my new toy and i kept on showing it up to my friends, letting them admire the mirror screen when the phone is on standby.

However, problems seem to pop-up now and then that I'm starting to think that this phone is not really the best out there. The phone seems to be a magnet for fingerprints and scratches. I take good care of my handsets but sometimes accidents do happen and it turned out that my phone's casing is pretty sensitive. Then I started to miss some anticipated calls because of the low volume. Battery life is so-so. The mirror screen is very beautiful to look at but it loses its attractiveness when you can't see through the screen when your out in the sunlight.

So, in the end, I wish that I considered other options before buying. LG Shine is a pretty phone but I won't really recommend it.

It has a stylish slider design with polished-metal exterior and a 2.2-inch mirror-finish display. This cell phone is so shiny that you can even use it as a mirror. But the LG Shine is not just about looks because it also packs a lot of useful features. For instance, it has a 2-megapixel auto-focus camera and other multimedia features. It’s also a 3G device so web browsing is fast. However, I really don’t like its flat keypad. It looks good but it really doesn’t fit with its slider design. The navigation joystick also turned out to be too sensitive and you really need to spend time with it to control it well. But despite these flaws, the LG Shine is really a great phone with good looks and great performance.
