01234 Great phone!, Thursday, October 30, 2008 - 09:13

I got Nokia 6301 for weeks now and I have to say that I LOVE it! It looks and feels definitely professional and classy. The screen is so clear and radiant. The colors are wonderful. It has Nokia quality reception which is best in the business, plus with UMA for areas without good coverage. It has a typical Nokia/T-Mobile interface, nothing special here.
The camera at 2.0 megapixels is very clear and takes decent pictures. The music player is a lot improved than my old phone Nokia 5300 and reads more details from the MP3 tags so it’s more manageable. The music quality is the best I’ve ever heard on a phone. The fresh messaging interface and innovative t-zones interfaces are incredible as well. Much more sleek and make a lot more sense. The battery life is not that good. That may just be my phone, but it dies in a single day in mild use.
Overall, I love this phone. I would recommend it to everybody.

I choose this phone to be my newest favorite because of its slim, metallic and elegant look. The price is great for a phone with high-end features. I love the sound quality, the convenient menu system, the clear and colorful screen display and the nice looking keypads. I am so happy because I don't have to remove the battery to see the memory card. However, my most accessed applications are hidden under the menus. For example, the music player, it is hidden under the "Fun & Apps" icon. Maybe Nokia can make it a bit better by putting a menu for the music player alone just like in Sony phones. Camera is not the best but the pictures look ok in high light conditions.

Another plus factor that convinced me to buy this device is the card slot which can hold up to 4GB memory. It's like "wow, imagine the files I can save on my phone?". The stereo bluetooth and FM radio makes it all complete. I have no regrets that I purchased this device.
