Pantech Duo C810 in Black or Red

The Pantech Duo C810 has a good selection of office software and messaging options. It has a cool dual-sliding design which typing on this keypad is very easy and usable.

The problem is that it doesn't fit comfortably into a pants pocket.

The camera is a bit awkward.I snapped some blurry photos with the built-in 1.3-megapixel camera, but the sunny days tend to make things alright. However, image quality is fair for a 1.3-MP sensor.

The Pantech Duo C810 is faster than most Windows Mobile smartphones!

Well to give you a little background on why I was reviewing this phone. My boss just got this phone. It is ok. It has a cool little slide one way and slide the other way deal going for it. But it doesn't have a holder that let's you do this both ways. So this should have an invisble shield put on it. It has a lot of cool features but one thing I wish it had was wifi hookup. The data plan at my work won't be purchased and they think that we should just be using this for messaging and taking pictures. All of which it can do. But what it can't do is accept email and text in Japanese. So part of the company will get this phone. I of course am willing to hold on to my rudimentary phone that they gave me until next year. I really like phones that have the touch screen. I am accustomed to using that. I would have also been nice if this phone had a better camera. This phone does what it needs to do. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that are out on the market but it does what businesses need it to do. I know that when it comes to the economic slowdown we all need to be conscience of the decision we make for the best of the company. Good phone but it could be better.

A friend of mine had this phone. She needed to replace it 3 different times before she gave up on it completely. Because of the fact that it is windows based it kept freezing up on her during phone calls, it would turn on and off randomly. She couldn't receive text messages for weeks at a time. Plus it was not that great of a concept. The phone is all things considered a hassle and I would not recommended anyone waste their time or money on it.
