01234 Superb Smartphone!, Monday, October 27, 2008 - 10:04

I love this PDA phone. I used it for business affairs and it never lets me down. With email, phone, IM and the Internet -- my main daily phone usage. This phone is simple, easy with amazing features and unparalleled graphics! It is beautifully designed with easy to use QWERTY keyboard. The first time I used it, I was surprised how simple to set-up an email. It has an integrated organizer and 2.0-megapixel camera with video recording. The call quality is perfect. The picture quality was okay though. It has an excellent battery life.

I can multitask and prioritize with access to voice and data services at the same time. I absolutely enjoy image and video viewing, build playlists of my favorite songs and organize media files - even using BlackBerry Media Sync to transfer desktop iTunes music files to the smartphone.
With its built-in GPS capabilities, and BlackBerry Maps, I get turn-by-turn directions, to locate locations. The enhanced screen has radiant color and clear that exceed my expectations

Bottom Line: Best Smartphone, The screen is amazing. Excellent battery. Brilliant build quality. Email fantastic.

01234 Awesome, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 19:54

Ok, I want the Blackberry Bold. This is the phone us Crackberry users have been waiting for. Sure the Blackberry Curve was a pretty good business/entertainment hybrid phone, however, the Bold is a dream. The specs on the BB Bold are unreal! And I hear the display is even better than the iPhone. My work requires that I have a blackberry and I’m so glad I can get one of these. So when can I get my hands on one of these?

01234 T-Mobile, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 20:12

Will the Blackberry Bold be offered on T-Mobile? I’m tired of ATT getting all of the cool GSM phones. I use the Blackberry Curve and would love to upgrade to the Bold. I love the specs on this phone. I also hope the price isn’t too high... I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

01234 Best and Powerful BlackBerry Device!, Monday, December 15, 2008 - 09:17

The BlackBerry Bold 9000 is the best BlackBerry to date. I've been a loyal BlackBerry user for years and I also have iPhone. I'm really happy with this phone. The keyboard is really comfortable to use. BlackBerry Bold 9000 is an very well built device. The battery life is terrific. I stay Wi-fi active all day and night with incredibly small drain on the battery. The screen is crisp, smooth, and bright. The font looks good. The speaker is very loud. You can set multiple alarms. Picture taking is astonishingly smooth, as is music due to the enhanced power of the 624 MHz tri-core microprocessor. E-mail setup was a breeze for corporate and personal accounts. It has a full stereo mini-headphone jack for standard walkman styled headphones. Signal strength is stable. The browser is very functional. An outstanding case is included in the box.

PROS:

- Screen has high resolution
- the internal memory is excellent
- the new updated and improved software
- 3G data speeds
- excellent keyboard for texting
- very loud and good sound quality
- 3.5 mm headphone jacks
- build very strong, feels good in the hands.

CONS:

- the new icons took me awhile to getting used to it
-a bit hEAVY but feels solid
-keys might be a bit small for big hands

Overall, the Blackberry Bold 9000 is a wonderful phone. Well worth the upgrade. Better than the iPhone.

01234 Best BlackBerry Device, Thursday, December 18, 2008 - 11:33

The Blackberry Bold 9000 is much flatter than preceding models, and the keys don't protrude too much. Bold makes use of a trackball for navigation which is great. The menu navigation works well. When browsing internet pages, the trackball is outstanding for displaying the page horizontally and vertically.

Certainly the most exceptional physical feature of the Bold is its astonishing display. I was amazed by the color and clearness produced by this display. Perfect high-resolution display indeed.

I shouldn't miss its excellent full QWERTY keyboard. Each key is big and enough space that helps to define and separate these buttons.
The selling point to me is the HSDPA which means fast internet data transfers. And it is indeed FAST! It has Wi-Fi and on-board GPS receiver.

The 2-megapixel camera with an LED photolight works well. Picture I have taken so far was good. The Bold has a 3.5mm headphone input which is handy by plugging my headset to listen to my favorite songs or watch videos.

The OS is pretty fast. The battery life is excellent. I keep the 3.5G and Wi-Fi connectivity on, enabled push email, and made moderate use of calls and texting, and I was satisfied that the phone lasted for 3 days.

Likes: Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, superb e-mail support with full QWERTY keyboard, 3.5mm headphone jack
Wishes: Camera could be better, web browser could be improved

Overall, the BlackBerry Bold 9000 is a wonderful device. I'm impressed with its radiant display, better productivity tools, features, and brilliant multimedia capability. BlackBerry Bold 9000 is a highly commendable phone! Great job BlackBerry.

01234 Blackberry Bold, Wednesday, November 5, 2008 - 22:54

BlackBerry Bold

When I was a young boy, and those of you that were raised in the Northwest can attest to this, there are beautiful and delicious looking blackberries on the forbidding bushes. I believe and this is my expert child opinion that the best time to eat blackberries is in the morning when the night has left a slight chill on them and the sun is just starting to warm the air. With these tempting fruits one must be alert to the inherent dangers such as the bees that are also aware of the sweet temptations. One must be bold to enjoy these. So it is with the Blackberry Bold. It has a few drawbacks such as a not having a touch screen. Yes I think that a touch screen is a good thing and there are not many reasons to not have one. The software is not as fluid and as quick as some would like for the long awaited RIM Blackberry Bold. But the many features that it does have will have you very excited about it. It is a 3G phone. It gives you the ability to send and receive emails while talking on the phone. The QWERTY keys are solid and closer together but don?t become cumbersome. The screen boasts the best in its class. This Blackberry is almost as good as the ones I had in the Pacific Northwest but it doesn?t leave black marks on your finger tips. Those of you addicted to the Crackberries?wait no longer.

01234 Very Nice, Friday, November 7, 2008 - 12:53

A close friend of mine just got the Blackberry Bold and I had the opportunity to play aroundd with it. First, the aesthetics of the phone are fantastic. I particularly love the leather back. The rested comfortably in my hand and the screen was luminous. Since I currently own a Blackberry Curve, I was impressed by the Bold’s responsiveness when scrolling throughout the menu and launching applications. The Browser, as far as I could tell, seemed quite ordinary, but perhaps there is more under the hood than was readily apparent. Anyhow, overall I think Blackberry Has a winner.

01234 cool but USELESS FOR MAC USERS, Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 18:35

It's sleek and has amazing features, but it can be just SUPER FRUSTRATING for MAC USERS as it is not yet Mac friendly at all. The agenda and calendar just do not synch well, regardless of the PocketMac version. I've spent many hours on the phone with the RIM folks troubleshooting the device, installing and reinstalling softwares...Then had a replacement sent to me and it still does not work properly.

01234 Superb Blackberry Device, Thursday, February 26, 2009 - 04:15

I've been hearing good reviews about this device and since I am looking for a good new phone, I decided that this may be the best choice.

Good thing I made the wise decision. I really love all the features of this device because it makes life very easy for me. I totally adore the design, the clear screen, the cool QWERTY keys, the great sound quality and of course, the connectivity features. Also, I'm really thankful to the manufacturers for equipping this phone with a bigger built-in memory plus a memory card slot so that users can manage more files on their cellphone.

This device is almost perfect if it would have: a better camera, touchscreen, and longer battery life (battery life is not bad but if you usually use Wi-Fi and 3G then the battery drains faster.)

The makers of the Blackberry really took a big step to improve their product. This one is a great success!
