Samsung Jack

The Samsung Jack is the second affordable Smartphone released by AT&T this year. This new Smartphone gives the Nokia E71x a serious run for its money. The Samsung Jack offers all the good stuff you expect from a high-powered device. It has 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and a full QWERTY keyboard. It sports some nifty navigation features like the turbo scroll button and dedicated shortcut keys. The Samsung Jack also has a decent 3 megapixel camera with digital zoom and it has impressive battery life. However, this Windows Mobile Smartphone also has a few annoying cons. For instance, it has a proprietary USB port that makes charging, tethering and using headphone difficult. The display is also quite small for a smartphone at just 2.4 inches. I have observed that web browsing lags a bit and the buttons can be slippery. Overall, the Samsung Jack is a solid choice considering its offered at $99.99. It's definitely the best device in Samsung's Blackjack series.

The Samsung Jack seems like a solid upgrade from the Blackjack II. It has all of the bells and whistles while still delivering on enterprise level Exchange Support. Is it me, or does the Jack kind of look like a Blackberry?

This looks just like a blackberry, with a few added options. Overall its a pretty standard smart phone with 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, QWERTY keyboard, 3 megapixel camera. I haven't noticed anything special or different from a blackberry except for the look and feel. Its a decent buy and the price isn't bad for a smart phone.
