Samsung Juke U470 in Navy or Red or Teal

This phone surprised me. I was not expecting the sound quality to be very good and I assumed that it the buttons would be too small to text quickly with. Yet, after getting used to it, I found that this phone had about the same sound quality as my previous Samsung cell phones. The buttons are also surprisingly large for such a small phone, and sending text messages is not extremely difficult. It doesn?t hold up well as a music player, I still prefer to use my ipod over listening to my music on my phone.

I first purchased this phone because of its unique design. However, I was quickly disappointed when I discovered glaring flaws in this handset. I spend a lot of time time sending text messages and I found out that the Samsung Juke isn't the ideal device for texting. This device has narrow and flat keys which makes composing messages difficult. It also has a mediocre camera and I don't understand why I need to turn it upside down to open it. And I'm also annoyed that the music player can't be used when the phone is open. It doesn't have WiFi, 3G and a standard headset jack. Other users may like it because its compact and light but the Samsung Juke just isn't for me.

The Samsung Juke is absolutely chic and cute phone. It has a terrific music player on it. It can actually replace your mp3 player with its crisp sound and quality music! I think, it's he best music phone out there.

- Really close buttons which makes texting a bit difficult.

Great phone, not recommended for business use, great for teenagers and music fans.

I love the teal color of the Juke phone but I am not a fan of it. Though it is a good mp3-player phone still there's no other reason to own one. Well, if someone asks me why I don't like this phone, here is my answer:

- Juke's design is light and compact just like MP3 players and iPods but I don't approved it's "switchblade" mechanism. I observed that when I open the phone, I need to push the screen to the right and the phone will move clockwise then the screen will be on the top of the phone. This mechanism won't last after frequent usage.

- The phone's screen is too small that causes inconvenience when capturing images.

- The keypad of Juke is not big enough to move your fingers freely for text messaging. It requires more time to get a hang of it.

- It does not offer video recording feature, maybe because of its screen size.

- The phone had no memory card slot. But on a second thought, Juke's 2GB internal memory is more than enough to store mp3s.

- You will also experience difficulty in adding ringtones from your PC. I can't give up my every-minute-customization habit. One more thing, Juke doesn't support MIDI files.

If you are a music lover and you want to have a great phone, you better check out other phones before buying this one. I'm sorry Samsung.
