01234 Very durable with decent features, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 - 16:45

If you you the undesirable habit of frequently dropping your handset, then you should consider the Samsung Rugby (A837). This tough phone is made to withstand the worst working conditions. I even saw a YouTube demonstration showing that the Samsung Rugby (A837)can still work after being run over by a car! Most rugged phones offer basic features but this AT&T phone offer a surprising set of features. It has a 1.3-megapixel camera/camcorder which offers sharp images. This rugged mobile phone also provides stereo Bluetooth, GPS, music player, 3G connectivity and supports streaming-video content. However, the Rugby is far from perfect. It offers live video streaming but the quality is mediocre. It also lacks voice dialing and the memory card slot is located behind the battery. The price is also significantly higher compared with other rugged phones. If you work in a construction site then you might like the Rugby but its price tag can be discouraging.
