User Reviews So stylish and innovative!, Wednesday, November 12, 2008 - 00:36Sony Ericsson W910i is a nice, slim slide phone, with Walkman 3.0 music player, an FM radio, a 2 megapixel camera, memory expandable to 4GB, 3G with HSDPA and cool "shake control". The phone really looks good in the outside, but, like other devices, also has some drawbacks.
This phone is great in terms of the high speed 3G, the superslim look, the smooth sliding slider, the innovative "shake control" and the large flat keys that are so comfortable to use. However, there are times that these phone freezes and shuts off for no reason. Also, the volume is not quite as high as its supposed to be. You turn it on the maximum but it would still sound low compare to SE W850i. The camera is not that good, too. Only 2 MP with no autofocus and flash. But we can't expect a good camera with a walkman phone so it's no big deal. It's either you go for a good camera or great sound.
The advantages and disadvantages of this phone when weighed must be near equal but I would rather say that this phone is worth buying. That's because it is packed with features that's so convenient compared to other phones of different brands. The W910i has a high walkman credential, with music controls featured prominently. It also has easy-to-use circular navigational key, a large, bright and high resolution screen and the menus are clear and simple to navigate. The new "Shake Control" feature lets you change to a new random track by giving the phone a flick. That is really a big plus!

Great Solid Phone!, Thursday, December 11, 2008 - 08:57The Sony Ericsson W910 is a great walkman phone. It just works very well. It looks stylish along with its sturdy slider. It has everything I ever needed in a phone such as 2 megapixel camera, display is beautiful, memory card slot, stereo Bluetooth, and full web browser with RSS reader. Internet browsing was so easy to use. Except it does not have GPS or WiFi. Yet lacking these, this phone is still as good as it looks.
Music on this phone is a charm. Sound quality is perfect and its Megabass equalizer is a major plus.
The call quality is great as well as the reception. As days go by, I noticed that the battery life constantly became stable. Camera still has outstanding quality when in good lighting, despite the fact that being a 2 megapixel camera. Video capturing on it is rather average.
Pros:
- Excellent music playback
- Bright and sharp screen
- Accelerometer for selected motion sensor games and its tilt functions are great
- Thin design, smooth, light
- Camera takes decent pictures while in good lighting
- Comes with a 1GB card
Cons:
- Motion control lag
- Pricey but worth it
- Screen can scratch easily
- Some friends say the phone crashes at times but I haven't experienced this
I would totally recommend this to everyone else buying a new phone. Overall, the Sony Ericsson W910 is wonderful for everyday use. Great music phone!
