01234 I love this Lg Voyager., Tuesday, November 11, 2008 - 05:52

I just got this phone about a week now. So far, I must say, this is the best phone I have had. I am quite impressed and satisfied. The LG Voyager is a great phone. Much better than Samsung Glyde and LG env2.

PROS:
- Qwerty keyboard works wonderfully. Perfect size.
- Touch screen is very responsive
- Display screen and resolutions are splendid
- Buttons on bottom of outer screen are truly useful
- Battery life is astonishingly long (It can last 2 and a half days by texting or call constantly)
- More memory space
- Mobile TV. Vcast works brilliant. TV shows stream perfectly. Navigation works great.
- Mobile email and Mobile IM works great also.
- Shortcut menu
- 2 megapixel camera
- Stereo Speakers are outstanding. Music sounds wonderful, ringer volume is great.
- HTML browser

CONS:
- It could be a bit a smaller
- No copy and paste
- No drag and drop icons
- No camera flash

Overall, I love this phone and you will too! Two-thumps up!

01234 Great Phone!, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 12:54

My LG Voyager Review:

Rating: I give it 5 stars!

Pros: Verizon Wireless LG Voyager VX10000 has a revolutionary style and design with a luminous touch screen and a sizeable keyboard. It offers a great features set that consists of a top-quality Web browser, EV-DO support, integrated GPS application, and V Cast Mobile TV Bluetooth. Best of all, its call quality was outstanding.

Cons: The Voyager by LG VX10000 doesn’t have Wi-Fi and flash. The EV-DO connection speed and streaming video quality were jagged. Its touch screen lacks iPhone quality or can be clunky.

Why you should get LG Voyager VX10000?

The Voyager’s sleek design (Voyager seem to be similar to an iPhone, with features dominated by a stunning 2.8-inch display), generous feature set and outstanding performance make it the best LG messaging and multimedia phone by far.

Verizon Wireless and LG introduce another high-end messaging cell phone, the highly anticipated LG Voyager VX10000. Its predecessors were LG VX9800 and LG enV VX99000. Like a lot of people who live in Verizon country, we have eagerly awaited the carrier’s latest and absolutely greatest feature phone, the LG VX10000 Voyager. More of a detailed revamp, the Voyager features is similar to VX9800 and the enV, but it lifts greatly by offering redesigned controls, V Cast Mobile TV, and a big external touch screen that’s both luscious and user-friendly.

The Voyager VX10000 by LG is one handset that can be able to match the iPhone in several ways. Though Voyager by LG lacks Wi-Fi which is disappointing, but the LG Voyager offers a lot of features the iPhone lacks, such as 3G support, stereo Bluetooth, multimedia messaging, and an integrated GPS application.

Touchscreen:

The LG Voyager’s touch screen isn’t as responsive as the iPhone’s, though it is has force-feedback if your finger lands in the right place, you get a bit of a vibration. The Voyager features feedback on its touch controls. You may adjust the intensity and length of the vibrating feedback, which is a good feature. The touch-screen and keyboard modes sometimes didn’t play together as well as they should.

Navigation:

LG Voyager is a portable GPS navigation device in spite of its lower cost. The Voyager’s huge touch screen is user friendly and brings better navigation.

Design:

LG Voyager VX10000 looks more like the iPhone than it does its VX9800 and enV predecessors. It has vibrant touch screen that shines in the front face of the LG Voyager. As you’d expect from a messaging phone, the Voyager is rather bulky. At 4.64 by 2.12 by 0.71 inches, the Voyager is exactly as tall as the enV, but it’s also a bit wider when measured across the front face. It weighs 4.69 ounces. Its stunning and glossy design that is far more elegant than VX9800 and enV.

The touch screen measures 2.81 inches and supports 262,000 colors in a 400x240 pixel resolution with animation, sharp colors, and luscious graphics.

Top Features:

  • The Voyager’s huge external display is pleasing to the eye.
  • The Voyager features an icon-based menu system.
  • The Voyager has a spacious, user-friendly keyboard. The internal display is pleasant as well.
  • The Voyager took splendid photos.
  • Speakerphone calls were satisfying. The volume was louder than we expected, and the audio clarity was some of best we’ve encountered on a speakerphone.
  • Music quality was satisfying. The twin speakers gave enough volume, and the audio was clear. As is typical with a music phone, it’s not good enough to replace your standalone MP3 player, but it’s fine for most uses. Try headphones for the best experience.
