Sprint's first WiMAX smartphone might become official next week. According to the folks at WSJ, the rumored HTC Supersonic will be introduced during a presentation by Dan Hesse at CTIA. The carrier's first WiMAX handset is expected to be the centerpiece of Hesse's keynote address on Wednesday, March 24. |

This handset does not skimp on specs, by including a powerful 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Android 2.1 with HTC Sense UI. We sure hope this smartphone doesn't shortchange on the RAM. AT&T 3G NETWORK FASTEST IN THE US?

The folks at PCWorld has conducted rigorous test sto find out if the major U.S. mobile networks had made any improvements to their wireless data infrastructure in less than a year. The results from the tests conducted in December of 2009 and January of 2010 indicate that AT&T's 3G network is over 67% faster than the rival network of Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon. |

It appears that two of the recently introduced HTC smartphones with Sense UI are headed for the US market. A BGR source has revealed that the HTC Desire may land on AT&T in a May to June timeframe and Sprint will sell a slightly modified Legend as the Hero2. |
